This entry-level workshop focuses on the fundamentals of Tribal adaptation. The curriculum will emphasize ways that Tribal staff can incorporate adaptation into their existing work. Participants will gain access to information, tools, and resources to support effective engagement in adaptation and resilience.

Introduction to Vulnerability Assessments
Introduction to Adaptation Planning
Introduction to Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation
Roundtable discussions about resilience topics
Hands-on manoomin workshop led by LVD!
Target Audience: Staff and students from Tribal Nations, Tribal organizations, and TCUs in Upper Michigan and Wisconsin who want to incorporate adaptation and resilience into their work.

Meals: Meals will be provided (Tuesday-Thursday) at no cost to participants. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the registration form.
Travel Support: Travel support (hotel & mileage) is available to participants on a first come, first served basis. Please indicate interest in travel support on the registration form. If you need to cancel your registration after arranging travel support, you MUST contact the event organizers to avoid a no-show fee.
Schedule: This workshop runs for three full days on Tuesday, September 29 through Thursday, October 1. Plan to travel on Monday, September 28 and Friday, October 2.
